  • Position Overview

     

    This position serves in a key role as liaison to the company’s customers and partners and is responsible for providing support in the areas of customer and technical service, inside sales and marketing. Our customers depend on you to get the information they need.

     

    Responsibilities

    1. Enter customer orders, handle customer inquiries, resolve order errors, assist with customer returns and provide pertinent export documentation.
    2. Interact and follow up with customers, partners, and internal staff to resolve customer inquiries.
    3. Answer questions, troubleshooting and data analysis inquiries via phone and email on the usage and performance of Enzo and Axxora products requiring knowledge of:
      1. Molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology
      2. Laboratory techniques including cell biology, western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, flow cytometry and enzyme assays
    4. Utilize the CRM database (salesforce.com) in all technical and sales-related activities.
    5. Assist sales and marketing with customer outreach including phone and email campaigns.
    6. Determine customer and partner requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions based on defined departmental guidelines. Knowledge of Molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry or cell biology is preferred.
    7. Field requests for and quote on special pricing up to a 5% discount. Follow-up on issued quotations to close opportunities, gather market feedback, and to solicit new business.
    8. Contact customers and partners following sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction and expand sales potential.
    9. Assist with managing product documentation, including web documents, marketing collateral, and quality control documents.
    10. Maintain accurate records of list pricing and pricing agreements, including institutional discount pricing, regional distributor pricing, and business partner pricing.
    11. Follow-up with customers regarding delivery ETA’s and backorders.
    12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a SCIENTIC FIELD a must!

     

    Experience: 1-5years of related experience.

     

    Excellent written and oral English communication skills and a strong customer service focus. Good problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to resolve varied and non-routine scientific challenges. Strong analytical and documentation skills, follow-up, attention to detail, and technical adeptness. Basic business math skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be flexible in responding to changing demands. Computer proficiency required.
