  • Position Overview


    This scientific position serves in a key role as liaison to the company’s life sciences/clinical customers and partners and is responsible for providing support in the areas of customer and scientific/technical service, inside sales and marketing. Our customers depend on you to get the information they need.  You must have a scientific education and/or experience because of the nature of our products. 



    1. Enter customer orders, handle customer inquiries, resolve order errors, assist with customer returns.
    2. Interact and follow up with customers, partners, and internal staff to resolve customer inquiries.
    3. Utilize the CRM database (salesforce.com) in all technical and sales-related activities.
    4. Assist sales and marketing with customer outreach including phone and email campaigns.
    5. Determine customer and partner requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions based on defined departmental guidelines. Knowledge of Molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry or cell biology is preferred.
    6. Field requests for and quote on special pricing. Follow-up on issued quotations to close opportunities, gather market feedback, and to solicit new business.
    7. Contact customers and partners following sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction and expand sales potential.
    8. Maintain accurate records of list pricing and pricing agreements, including institutional discount pricing, regional distributor pricing, and business partner pricing.
    9. Follow-up with customers regarding delivery ETA’s and backorders.
    10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.


    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a SCIENTIC FIELD a must!


    Experience: 1-5years of related experience.


    Excellent written and oral English communication skills and a strong customer service focus. Good problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to resolve varied and non-routine scientific challenges. Strong analytical and documentation skills, follow-up, attention to detail, and technical adeptness. Basic business math skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be flexible in responding to changing demands. Computer proficiency required.
