  • Position Overview

    This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling in-house and OEM manufactured products, and providing support to the Production department to ensure timely production, product quality, and accurate maintenance of inventory.

    Responsibilities

    1. Fill and label kit components.
    2. Assemble immunoassay kits, chemicals, and other products.
    3. Perform OEM-related duties, including product re-labeling, assembly, and receiving.
    4. Assist in the packaging of compound libraries.
    5. Maintain filled component inventory.
    6. Maintain and organize assembly component inventory.
    7. Operate automated filling machines and equipment.
    8. Check component labels and assembled kits.
    9. Follow all safety protocols, including carefully reviewing MSDS and utilizing appropriate PPE, as required.
    10. Input inventory information into the ERP system, including entries and batches.
    11. Generate lot-specific product specification sheets for compounds.
    12. Make product insert copies and component labels.
    13. Perform general lab maintenance to keep the lab clean and organized.
    14. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

     

    Qualifications

    Education: High school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or other scientific field a plus.

    Experience: 1 years of related experience in a scientific setting, including reagent and/or chemical processing and packaging and/or hands-on experience with basic laboratory bench techniques.

    Skills: Good organizational and communication skills, detail oriented, and proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Able to work effectively in a team environment.
