    Laboratory Information Systems Analyst Night Shift

    Mon – Fri 08:00PM – 04:30AM

    This position is responsible for day-to-day operations of clinical laboratory systems and providing LIS and IT support to end users. Conducts and coordinates application activities for Clinical Laboratories. Supports and maintains applications related to laboratory software. Works with system users to modify and improve workflow. Troubleshoots and resolves problems; develops user and operational documentation.


    • Plans, conducts and coordinates programming application activities for Core Laboratories. Participates with system users in the investigation and evaluation of new proposals and system requirements.
    • Codes, tests and documents moderately to highly complex programs in specialized languages. Prepares or modifies job control language and tests the implementation for conformance to the design.
    • Assists in preparation of systems specification including revising manuals, design of forms and computer output and documenting user procedures. Performs functions of total computer design for moderately to highly complex problems including specification of interfaces, file content and format, and general logic considerations.
    • Monitor and document Lab systems and interfaces
    • Assists the LIS Manager in the design, testing, implementation and support for instruments, reference lab, HEDIS, State DOH reporting, SLAR and all other business-essential interfaces
    • Develops and executes unit test programs to ensure correctness of implementation.
    • Prepares work plans for all assignments and reports progress of plans to LIS Manager
    • Designs and develops user and operational documentation.
    • Provide first level support for all related computer issues



    • High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or Information Technology, preferred.
    • Three (3) years progressive experience in systems analysis and/or programming, preferred.
    • Experience with Seacoast Laboratory Information System, WindoPath and Freedom Document Scanner Preferred.
