  • Position Overview

    Major Responsibilities:

    This position is responsible for performing market research in support of new strategic marketing programs. The Associate Product Manager will work with scientific staff to ensure technical accuracy of product documentation. The Associate Product Manager is responsible to manage single projects and/or participate on portions of multiple projects.


    Specific Duties:


    1. Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing program and material
    2. Understand priorities for the development of new products by defining customer needs
    3. Provide research and understanding to help guide the product positioning
    4. Understand strategic and financial implications of products/projects
    5. Develop training presentations for Sales, Tech Support, customers and distributors
    6. Website content. Make recommendations around infographics, videos, images or other medial
    7. Edit and compile work by multiple contributors (product management, marketing, R&D, Tech Support)
    8. Develop and maintain database of presentations and lectures
    9. Manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively
    10. Participate in highly collaborative special projects
    11. Support product management administrative duties




    Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Life Sciences field required       


    Experience: Minimum 1-3 experience in Life Sciences. Experience with blogging and social media platforms


    Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills. Outstanding organization, analytical and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to use judgment as dictated by complexity of situation. Must be a team player.
